Google is updating their Google My Business – changing the name to Google Business Profile. However, many businesses have yet to utilize this incredible tool offered by Google.

Here’s what you need to know about it.

 The Process

The process of updating your Google Business Profile straight from Google products you already use has been made simpler as of today. You can now edit company information, upload photographs, comment to reviews, and publish posts directly from Google Search and Maps.

 

Make sure you are logged in with the Google account used to authenticate your business before you do anything else. To use these capabilities on Google Maps, just hit your profile photo in the top right corner of the mobile app and choose “Your Business Profile”. You can check up your company on Google Search by name or type in “my business” to update your profile. The “my business” capability is presently only available in English, but it will eventually be available in other languages.
